Design for Manufacturability (DFM) is the process of designing parts, components or products for ease of manufacturing with an end goal of making a better product at a lower cost. This is done by simplifying, optimizing and refining the product design. We firmly believe in saying that “the best design is the simplest one that works”. AMS facilitates Value Engineering DFx (Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Testability) study, closures design improvements.

We provide DFM services right from NPI / NPD Prototype stage in the design process, use 3D printing and other technologies to produce Rapid Proto models for required visualization of Industrial designs. We combine this with traditional skills to produce prototypes that are virtually indistinguishable from their production ready parts.
